Increase in Cavities
Did you know that decay or cavities in preschool children in on the rise? The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that a child first visit a dentist by one year old or approximately 6 months after the first tooth comes in. Following these recommendations helps detect early signs of dental disease and aids in the prevention of potentially painful, expensive and invasive dental problems.
